Whew!

For those not paying attention, it is HOT outside. So when our air conditioning went out a few days ago, we high-tailed it to Granny Janny and Granddaddy's house. Everything is fixed now and we are glad to be home, although Ellis did enjoy a little extra spoiling while we were there. (Greg and me, too.) With this crazy hot weather, we haven't spent much time outside, so my 4th of July picture taking session was extremely brief. But I did manage to get a couple of good shots. Ellis was bedecked in all sorts of stars and stripes. No one can ever accuse her of not being patriotic.

One way to beat the heat is to play with ice cubes and water in the kitchen floor for an hour.
